This light and refreshing dessert is so quick and easy to
make. It's been a favorite staple at most Spiker family and church
potlucks. |

Ingredients: |
|
1 Angel Food cake
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 TBS sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 Cups Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling |
| |
|
|
|
Directions: |
|
Into a 13x9x2 pan, break cake into small pieces. In
a bowl, cream together the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Fold in
the Cool Whip. Pour mixture over cake pieces. Toss lightly to
coat then press down lightly so it will congeal together. Chill one
hour. Pour pie filling on top and let set overnight. |

You may substitute your favorite pie filling for the
cherry. Some yummy options are peach, pineapple, strawberry. |
