Mourning the Loss of our Dear Aunt Ann

Delane King - affectionately known to us as Aunt Ann - has passed away

By Jane Hayes

This is by far the hardest post I’ve ever had to write. It’s with a heavy heart I give you all the news of my sweet mother passing. So many of you had her in your prayers the past few days, but God had a bigger plan for her. We did all that we could for her and my sister, along with my children have no regrets. There comes a time we have to love them enough to let them go.

As I looked out into the night sky tonight, I saw the biggest brightest full moon shining down upon me. It was at that moment I knew that the one that gave me life would always light my darkest nights and shine brightly forever in my heart. My mother, Nene, Momma Ann, and Aunt Ann … We love you to the moon and back.
